Motorhome site Hamburg Arrival & Your First Night
Almost everything here runs digitally. That's convenient if you sort out a few things beforehand. Tick them off here, your phone will remember where you're up to.
Checklist before you set off
Not booked yet?
We keep half the pitches free for spontaneous arrivals. You book on the day you arrive, online or at the terminal in the registration room, round the clock.

Into the city without the motorhome
Bus 351 stops in front of the site (Freiluftschule Moorwerder stop). With a change to the S-Bahn you're at Elbbrücken or Central Station in around 30 minutes. Buy tickets beforehand in the hvv app.
Back late?
No problem. The last bus to the site leaves S Wilhelmsburg daily at 0:04, and in the morning on weekdays the first one leaves at around 5:30. During the day it runs once an hour. On the nights before Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays the S-Bahn runs all night. You can reach the Elbinsel-Taxi on 0157 38981662.
Heading out for a while
As often as you like. Your electricity bollard stays on. If you want to save, switch it off in your customer account.
Why we're closed in winter
The site lies outside the dyke, right on the Elbe. From October to March there is a risk of storm surges, and overnight stays in the harbour area are then prohibited.
Our season: Season 14 March to 1 October. Der Stackmeister is still open all year round.
A tidal Elbe
Even in summer the Elbe rises and falls here twice a day. It's lovely to watch from the bank. In storms and high water, please keep your distance from the water.
