2. In brief

We do not use any tracking, advertising cookies or analytics tools on this website. Fonts and images are stored on our own server. Content from other providers only loads when you actively click on it.

3. Hosting and server log files

The website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you visit, the server automatically stores technical data in log files: IP address, date and time, the page accessed, referrer, browser and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have a data processing agreement with the host. The log files are deleted after a short time.

4. Cookies and consent

Technically necessary: when staff log in to the internal area, WordPress sets login cookies (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, § 25 (2) TDDDG). A checklist on the “Arrival” page remembers your ticks in your own browser's storage, and this data does not leave your device.

Consent management with CCM19. On your first visit, a banner asks whether you agree to audience measurement. For this we use CCM19 by Papoo Software & Media GmbH, Auguststr. 4, 53229 Bonn, Germany. CCM19 stores your choice in your browser and processes technically necessary data such as your IP address when the banner loads. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with § 25 (2) TDDDG. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the banner.

Google Analytics 4. Only if you agree, we use Google Analytics 4 by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, integrated via the WordPress plugin Site Kit. Google Analytics then sets cookies and records how our website is used, for example pages viewed, time spent, approximate region, device and browser. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Without your consent no analytics cookies are set, and Google only receives cookieless signals without an analytics identifier (Consent Mode). Data may be transferred to the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG, which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future. More: https://policies.google.com/privacy

5. Contact form and email

If you write to us using the form or by email, we process your details (name, email address, optionally your phone number, and your message) in order to answer your enquiry. The message is sent to us by email and is not stored in the website database. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries relating to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete the data once the enquiry has been dealt with and there are no statutory retention obligations.

6. Booking via direst

You book pitches in the booking portal of our service provider direst. When you click “Book now”, you switch to their website, where direst's privacy notices apply. To handle your stay, we process your booking data there, your vehicle's number plate for entry with number plate recognition, and payment data (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). [Add direst's provider name, address and data processing agreement]

On the “Pitches & Prices” page, an embedded window from direst shows the free pitches in real time. When this window loads, your IP address is transmitted to direst. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in showing you current availability directly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

7. Bread roll shop

The bread roll shop at shop.elbepark-bunthaus.de is a separate online shop with its own privacy policy. Order and payment data are processed there as soon as you place an order.

8. Weather and water level

Our server retrieves the weather and water level display from Open-Meteo and PEGELONLINE (the German Federal Waterways and Shipping Administration). No data about you is transmitted in the process.

HVV journey planner, location and live map

Our server retrieves the connection search, the departure board and the bus position via the Geofox interface of the Hamburger Verkehrsverbund (HVV). Only your search details (destination, date, time) are transmitted, not your IP address. If you use the button “From my location back to the site”, your browser asks for permission first. Your location is then sent to HVV via our server for this one search only and is not stored (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The live map only loads when you click “Load map”. Map tiles are then loaded directly from the OpenStreetMap Foundation (St John’s Innovation Centre, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom), which transmits your IP address there (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). An EU adequacy decision applies to the United Kingdom. Privacy policy: osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy

9. Links to other providers

Among other things, we link to Google Maps (route planning), the HVV, Facebook and partner offers. You only leave our website when you click on a link, and the privacy notices of the respective provider then apply. Some partner links are affiliate links, through which the partner records that you came from us.

10. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, the right to data portability and the right to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time. To do so, write to info@elbepark-bunthaus.de.

You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Hamburgischer Beauftragter für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit), Ludwig-Erhard-Str. 22, 20459 Hamburg.

11. Encryption

This website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise it by the padlock symbol and by “https://” in the address bar.
